About the AudioQuest Niagara 1200 Power Conditioner
The Niagara 1200 is AudioQuest’s entry point into their acclaimed Niagara line of power products, built to protect and improve the performance of an entire system rather than just filter noise. It combines AudioQuest’s patented Ground-Noise-Dissipation and Linear Noise-Dissipation technologies, delivering more than 19 octaves of AC differential filtering (20kHz-1GHz, in excess of 24dB) with a linear response that stays consistent regardless of line or load impedance. The result is a noticeably quieter background and improved clarity, dynamics, and imaging from the gear plugged into it.
Unlike simple surge protectors that sacrifice themselves (and stop protecting your gear) after a single large event, the Niagara 1200’s non-sacrificial surge protection can absorb multiple AC surges and spikes up to 6000V/3000A without being damaged or needing replacement. It offers 7 total outlets — 5 for source components and 2 high-current outlets suited to amplifiers — in a compact, cabinet-friendly chassis that fits easily into an equipment rack or on a shelf.
