This is a Fisher 500c that was restored by Hudson Valley HiFi ~8 years ago and has been traded in towards a new amplifier. The restoration on this receiver was complete with a signal path overhaul with Sprague Orange Drop capacitors, and power supply rebuilt with new Nichicon electrolytics installed under the chassis bypassing the original can capacitors. New matched quad of Electro-Harmonix power tubes were checked on our Amplitrex digital tube tester and found to still test as new. This receiver sounds great and pulls in FM stations very well. The front end preamp and phono tubes are Fisher branded Telefunken 12ax7. The chassis is in excellent condition as is the faceplate.
