This Pioneer SX-1010 receiver is almost complete. Here are a few shots of the rebuilt power supply, protection circuit, and FM muting boards.
The power supply as expected takes the most time and care as the most components are replaced especially all transistors. Careful attention must be spent on transistor pin outs as the modern equivalent may differ from the originals. After the board was serviced all test points are back to factory spec. The B rails were a big concern before the servicing since they were pushing 68V to the amp boards instead of the 56V spec.
