Description
The Founder 120H is the top model in the Founder Series, designed and built in Canada. Its tweeter and midrange run from your amplifier like any passive speaker, while an internal amplifier drives three 8 inch woofers, so your receiver or amp only has to handle the midrange and highs. Anthem Room Correction (ARC Genesis) is built into the bass section to tame room problems at the low end.
Highlights
- Three way hybrid design: passive mids and highs, powered bass with an internal amplifier Paradigm rates at 1000 watts
- 1 inch AL MAC ceramic dome tweeter with Oblate Spheroid Waveguide and PPA lens for controlled dispersion
- 6 inch AL MAG midrange and three 8 inch Carbon X woofers on Advanced Shock Mount isolation
- Rated ±2 dB from 22 Hz to 23 kHz on axis, with low frequency extension to 18 Hz (DIN)
- 95 dB room sensitivity; works with 15 to 400 watts of amplifier power for the passive section
- Requires AC power for the bass amplifier; ARC Genesis room correction works with any brand of electronics
Sold as a pair.
