Description

The AW 800 M is the Electrocompaniet reference power amplifier, designed and built in Norway as the successor to the AW 600 NEMO. Each chassis delivers 800 watts into 8 ohms in mono, and a rear toggle switches it to a 300 watt per channel stereo amplifier or a bi amp configuration. The power supply uses twin shielded toroidal transformers and 210,000 µF of filtering.
