Description
The M5xi uses two independent monobloc power amplifiers and a separate preamp, with an output stage derived from the Musical Fidelity Titan. It produces 160 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 240 watts into 4 ohms, with plenty of current for difficult speakers. A fully analog preamp with a Burr Brown stepped attenuator sits alongside a modern set of digital inputs.
