For those keeping track at home recently I had a Pioneer SX-636 receiver restored and sold very quickly. If you were interested and missed out I have a treat for you. Another 636 is gracing our walls and will be given the HV HiFI treatment and made available. These like many vintage Pioneers are excellent receivers and with our restoration will give many decades of enjoyment.

Also check out the Mike’s Corner tab above and see previous articles created about the 636 restoration. This unit is better functioning than the last so may need a little less work, however notorious problematic components will always be changed.
